The funeral was held at the Vile Parle West Crematorium on May 27, 2019, at 6:00 pm, Ajay. Numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Suniel Shetty, Salim Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, came to pay homage to them. While many stars turn to social media to offer their condolences to the family.
Today, the family has organized a prayer meeting for Veeru Devgan. Ajay and his wife Kajol came first with their daughter Nysa. Bollywood personalities such as Chunky Panday and his wife Bhavana, Kabir Bedi and his wife Parveen Dusanj, Ritesh Sidhwani, Vipul Shah and Shefali Shah joined them. Later, Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Suresh Oberoi and Urmila Matondkar also came to pay homage.
