History Description

AJ Supyles, superstar of the WWE, has recently spoken with Newsweek and has addressed various topics.

According to Styles, WWE is a global brand and offers other promotions. They should never compete with them if they want to succeed.

If you did not know …

Things did not go as planned for AJ Styles at Money In The Bank last weekend. He had had the opportunity to compete for the WWE title against Seth Rollins and the rivalry had developed in recent weeks.

Both Superstars had a PPV clbadic, which ended with Rollins winning a clear win over Styles. The two Superstars shook hands after the match, cheered by the crowd.

The following Monday Night Raw, Styles seemed to have entered a new quarrel when his behind-the-scenes interview was interrupted by Baron Corbin. This ended in slaps inflicted on Corbin by Styles, forcing him to leave in embarrbadment.

The heart of the problem

] While speaking with Newsweek, AJ Styles explained what other promotions should do to succeed. He said that independent countries should never try to compete with WWE, but rather with themselves to be able to improve each day.

He added that these promotions must be different and present themselves as an alternative. He concluded by saying that competition would always improve the product.

With respect to independent products, I do not think they should ever be competitive with the WWE. They have to compete for improvement every day because there is no competition, if you want me to be honest. WWE is globally huge.

If you want to succeed, do not compete. Either something different, be the alternative.

Next Steps

AJ Styles is about to start a rivalry with Baron Corbin, which could lead to the next Super Showdown.
