Realme launched Realme U1 on Wednesday, its new smartphone for the Indian market. The new phone is the first to feature the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC launched last month. It also has a 19.5: 9 screen with a teardrop-shaped notch design. Realme has provided a 25 megapixel image sensor at the front, while the back of the Realme U1 sports a dual rear camera configuration. The smartphone also has many features such as portrait lighting, slow motion video, AI scene detection and the Bokeh effect. In addition, it carries up to 4 GB of RAM. All this makes Realme U1 a powerful competitor against competitors such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. The price of the U1 Realme in India starts at Rs. 11,999 for the internal storage variant 3GB of RAM / 32GB, while its integrated storage variant of 4GB RAM / 64GB was priced at Rs. 14,499. The smartphone will be marketed via Amazon India from noon on December 5th. The Realme U1 introductory offerings include a 5% refund on SBI cards, free EMI options and Jio benefits up to Rs. 5,750 and up to 4.2TB of Jio 4G data . The smartphone is available in the Ambitious Black, Brave Blue and Fiery Gold color options.

In contrast, the price of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro in India is set at Rs 1,000.00 Rs. 13,999 for the storage variant of 4GB of RAM / 64GB, while its 6GB model of RAM with 64GB of storage is priced at Rs. 15,999. Both variants are available in black, blue, red and rose gold.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, meanwhile, is sold at Rs. 14,999 for the model with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of integrated storage. The smartphone is available in the color options Deepsea Black and Gray. However, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-core SoC, coupled with a graphics processor Adreno 509, 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of built-in storage, expandable via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The ZenFone Max M1 Pro also features the Snapdragon SoC 636, the Adreno 509 graphics processor, and 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM options. It comes with built-in storage options of 32GB and 64GB, both expandable via a microSD card (up to 2TB).

The Realme U1 has a dual rear camera configuration that includes a 13 megapixel main sensor with an f / 2.2 aperture and a 2 megapixel secondary sensor with an f / 2.4 aperture, both coupled with a flash LED. For selfies, a 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor is on the back, f / 2.0 aperture, 1.8 micron pixel size and 4-in-1 pixel technology. The RAM variant of ZenFone Max Pro M1 6GB features a dual rear camera configuration as well as a 16 megapixel main sensor with an aperture f / 2.0 and a 5-megapixel secondary depth detection sensor, coupled with an LED flash. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel sensor on the front with an f / 2.0 aperture. The Realme U1 contains a 3500 mAh battery. However, the Redmi Note 6 Pro contains a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 compatible 4000 mAh battery. The ZenFone Max Pro M1, meanwhile, is endowed with a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 10 W load.

The Realme U1 measures 157 x 74 x 8 mm and weighs 168 grams. Unlike the Realme model, the Redmi Note 6 Pro measures 157.91 x 76.38 x 8.26 mm and weighs 182 grams. On the other hand, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 measures 159 x 76 x 8.61 mm and weighs 180 grams
