MediaTek's flagship Octa-Core processor, the 2.1 GHz Helio P70, powers the device. This is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS and MicroUSB technologies. The device contains a 3500mAh battery that does not support fast charging. On the software side, the U1 runs Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS skin on top.

Regarding optics, the back of the phone has an AI enhanced 13MP + 2MP dual camera configuration and has an f / 2.2 aperture.
