Akshay Kumar will be seen this year in the film titled Kesari. The film is based on the battle of Saragarhi. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. A few weeks ago, the directors had shared Akshay and Pari still together from the movie. In the film, Akshay describes the role of the military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers, Havildar Ishar Singh, who fought against thousands of Afghan invaders.
Today, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Republic, the directors shared a new still from the film. In the still, Akshay and his force look fierce while they are ready for battle. Apoorva Mehta titled the still: "The day of the Republic is happy, we are celebrating our 70th anniversary, but our men have been fighting for the country for centuries, and 122 years ago, 21 Sikhs fought 10,000 invaders.
