After many hours of anxiety, Abhinandan is finally back in India. He was captured by Pakistan.

The breathless countdown to Abhinandan's homecoming – become the focus of escalating tensions between the two torn neighbors during his capture after the crash of his plane – began Thursday when the Pakistani Prime Minister was shot dead Imran Khan announced in parliament that he would be released the next day as a gesture of peace.
Along with the rest of India, Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Ra Nveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Dia Mirza also welcomed Abhinandan.
