Alita: Battle Angel is a science fiction entertainer tricked and directed by Robert Rodriguez had previously given Sin City and produced by James Cameron. The film takes place in a post-apocalyptic period, in about 500 years, in a rundown metropolis of dumps called Iron City, which is snuggled in the shadow of the elite, the floating citadel of Zalem and we suggests that the traffic between the two cities is now extremely limited.
Here, Dr. Dyson Ido (Christoph Waltz), a specialist in repairing half-human cyborgs using salvaged parts, finds the remains of an old robot among the waste and brings it back to life. The successful surgery had the unfortunate effects of amnesia, making the teenage girl a lost girl in Iron City.

Dr. Ido then baptizes Alita (Rosa Salazar) after her late daughter. Alita first ignores her bloodthirsty past and soon begins to emit as a normal human teenager, even developing a crush on young junk dealer Hugo (Keean Johnson). In fact, during the narrative, Alita seeks to heal her amnesia and determine precisely who she is and what her purpose is in life.

The story is simple but complex, with secondary intrigues that include clbad warfare, a mysterious past, a plot of conspiracy, a teenage romance, a glimpse of a war on the moon and a rollerblading. Derby called "Motorball". Intrigue in itself is not really something of a writer, but the sincerity with which it is told is contagious.

Ridiculous characters like the master of the dogs appear then disappear and the details of the world can be lost between new discoveries and exhibitions. But what remains clear is the action thrilling, caricatured and filmed with the greatest precision. These sequences are brilliantly designed, combining style, grace and excitement to create a fun and incredibly fun end product.

Salazar shines under the name of Alita, bringing warmth, determination and tremendous strength to the lead role. She is serious and seems much more real than we would have anticipated, based on the first glimpses of her strange appearance. In front, his big eyes are hypnotizing.

As always, the waltz is a joy to watch, even if its character is limited by a limited emotional range. His interaction with Alita seems authentic, even though the relationship is growing at breakneck speed.

Mahershala Ali appears as a loser in the role of the Machiavellian vector who manages the motorized balloon and claims to be Nova, the mysterious leader of Zalem. Everything about his character is unsatisfactory and seems untapped.

Other people playing supportive roles that make their presence felt are Jennifer Connelly as an old Ido woman, Chiren, who now works for Vector, Keean Johnson as Hugo, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. as a friend. and Jackie Earle Harley in the role of the monstrous killer cyborg Grewishka. They all have their moments of glory on the screen.

Visually, the film begins with an impressive rush of breathtaking rave inspired patterns and striking clues. Animation and visual effects in 3D are a sumptuous sensory experience, because the world of Alita is rich, diverse and credible, thanks to beautiful scenery and fascinating inhabitants. This possible vision of the 26th century is a marvel to behold.
