- Sai Dharam Tej Cinematography Heroines Of The Comedy
- Predictable Placement of the Predatory Song
Bottom Line: Sai Dharam Tej returns with a pretty decent artist.
Sai Dharam Tej, mega hero's supreme star, is back to the screen after a break with his fun-loving romantic Chitralahari, featuring two beauties, Nivetha Pethuraj and Kalyani Priyadarshan, as well as two great actors, Sunil and Vennela Kishore. This is the first exclusive feature of the AP Herald team in the review "Chitralahari".
Sai Dharam Tej and Kalyani Priyadarshan are in love and everything goes well until a misunderstanding occurs between Nivetha Pethuraj, Kalyani's friend and according to her advice she breaks with Sai . Dharam Tej. Why did Nivetha separate their love and was he able to win Kalyani's love? That's what Chitralahari is about.
Sai Dharam Tej is excellent because the loser lover and his emotions are well transmitted. Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nivetha Pethuraj have distinct characters and both are excellent in their expressions and are pretty. Sunil and Vennela Kishore also entertain with their hilarious dialogues and fun episodes. The rest of the cast is adequate but fails to impress. The character of Sai Dharam Tej was designed so well and he played a character matured after a long time. Posani also performed so well.
The score of Devi Sri Prasad is generally good, while among his songs, Prema Vennela, the glbad mates are good. Karthik's cinematography makes Chitralahari an attractive film and the editing of Sreekar Prasad is tense. The production values of Mythri Movie Makers are really good. But everything ends in vain because we can not be more connected. The writing is too superficial because we can see so many weak characterizations.
Kishore Tirumala delivered the last Vunnadi Okate Zindagi flop and now comes with another love story and wove it with a losing hero and two opposing heroines. The first half is fun and okayish and the second half is emotional and slow.
Although the scenario is not very engaging, the director could have avoided clichés and predictability. With good performances and beautiful songs, despite some problems of predictability, Chitralahari ends as a comeback for Sai Dharam Tej.
