What is it?
This is the same ancient story where Raghava (Raghava Lawrence) and his family are initially haunted by different ghosts. Later, Raghava is possessed by these ghosts only to reveal their past and the reason for their death. All ends with the revenge of the spirits via Raghava.
How is Lawrence's performance?
Raghava Lawrence somnambulists throughout the film, enjoying of course all the attention of the female cast. There is nothing new that he does here that he has not done in previous movies in the series. To be honest, Raghava Lawrence has done better.
Directed by Lawrence?
It can safely be said that Raghava Lawrence is a good director on the field. . The stories have been his problem, but he has always managed to engage in fast-paced scenarios. Kanchana 3 is not different.
The first half of the film is like a breeze. A gag continues to come after the other without any lag. We know what lies ahead, but the pace at which this happens and the chills offered by cold eyebrows work well for that purpose. There are chills and cheap laughs to have. Yes, there is nothing new, yet it works.
But here's the thing, even on the routine ground, there must be something fresh. It should be the gags, the main story or the presentations. It is to this account that Raghava Lawrence fails. It would be the fourth film in the same format if we started with Muni. Repetitiveness and formula can be seen from miles. Once the silly comedy is over and we get to the main story in the second half, everything falls apart
By the time we reach the climax, all the interest has evaporated. In short, it is a free fall in the second half, each progressing block being smaller than the previous one. If you've ever seen one of Kanchana's previous movies, do yourself a favor, forget about it.
Oviya, Vedhika and others?
Vedhika and Oviya are the heroines of the film that bears his name. . They do nothing but act frightened and embrace the hero by exaggerating the gesture along the way. These are the most stupid written roles for heroines lately. The others are comic support roles played at high energy by Kovai Sarala, Sriman and Devadarshini. They manage to provide bursts of laughter. Tarun Arora and Kabir Duhan Singh play the role of the villain as they have already done it a million times before.
Department of Music and others?
There is nothing about the music to talk to about the exception of the background note provided by SS Thaman. It is deafening and causes headaches. Cinematography and editing are mediocre. We did not expect much from the old, but the latter could have done decent work. The writing is low, and the dubbing often lacks synchronization.

Alternative Take
At this point, it's a waste of time. to make other films of this series. The alternative solution, not for the film, but for Raghava, Lawrence would be doing something different as a director next time, because he can make mbad-scale films.
