Thanks in large part to the presence of LeBron James, veteran forward Richard Jefferson has a 2016 NBA Championship ring of his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
But all this goodwill and many years of friendship are nothing compared to the hbadle Jefferson faces when asked where his buddy James will sign this season off as a free agent.
In a Snapchat post picked up by an ESPN reporter, the current Denver Nugget announced that he had "decided to end my friendship" with James, his 2015-17 teammate, hilariously.
"In truth, I've never liked the guy, he's working too hard, he's making us uncomfortable, he's my son's favorite player and I consider this a complete betrayal of the work that I've done for the head, "Jefferson snapped.

So, if a basketball fan gets to see Jefferson in the street, do not hesitate to ask him about his academic career at the University of Arizona. Ask him about his 17 seasons in the NBA with eight different teams. Ask him if he is about to retire.
Do not ask him questions about LeBron James' future plans.
