. The superhero movie will be distributed by Warner Bros. However, the contract with the actor has not yet been confirmed. Pattinson is the favorite for this iconic role, according to the report.
The pre-production work of the highly anticipated film should begin this summer. The film will be produced jointly by Matt Reeves and his collaborator Planet of the Apes, Dylan Clark.
If the deal is finalized, Robert Pattinson will become one of the youngest stars to play the DC character. The filmmakers have high hopes in the film, seeing how Justice League and Batman v Superman have taken to the box office.
Aside from the superhero movie, Pattinson is in talks for another Warner Bros. movie that will also be starring John David Washington. The film will be directed by the famous director Christopher Nolan.
Robert Pattinson will be seen in four films this year – High Life, The Lighthouse, The King of Netflix and Meanwhile the Barbarians.
