It's really for the configuration of, there was a sequel. We want to put someone here who we would like in a sequel. So it's a bit difficult to do. We both knew Ed. None of us had worked with Ed. But Ed is really smart. Like Jim [Cameron] he is very very intelligent. I have known him for several years. I've always thought of him as being similar – not so much like Jim, but similar. I can see why they were friends. I can just see them geeking. So when you put on the white hair, it was like, "Yes, it looks a little like Jim. I think it looks good. It was pretty funny.
The film ends on a cliffhanger and Nova will play a much bigger role in the sequel. I hope the film will eventually be a success so we can see the epic conclusion of the story!
I would be really depressed if this movie explodes at the box office. If a film like this can not succeed, there is no hope that new and unique film franchises will be born in Hollywood. We will continue to have the same remakes and reboots as people complain about.
