Ambrose and Reigns joined the WWE training the same night in the Survivor 2012 series, training the legendary Shield Stable with Seth Rollins, and the strong friendship that unites the three members.
promoted last April and joined All Elite Wrestling, where he debuted in the rival company's debut double or nothing as his old hardcore gimmick of Jon Moxley.
But during his time with The Big Dog at the WWE, the two spent a lot of time together and traveled in the same car even when they were competing against each other.
However, according to Ringside News Moxley claims that he would have taken revenge for "hell from him" if they were not friends because he felt that he had many times a stronger connection with the WWE universe and that his booking was still not so favorable.
But the former WWE Champion has no grudges and insists that things like this will never be.
Moxley told the Wade Keller Pro Wrestling podcast: "I'm really happy that he's one of my best friends because we'd be driving in the car, even competing, so to speak, because I've got it! I love him so much that I could not blame him or anything.
"If he was a guy I was not friends with or hated, I'd probably have to blame him for it.
"It often occurred to me to feel as if I had a stronger connection with the audience, but that mattered little.
"It's my best friend, so that would never have come between us."
Reigns and Ambrose have one last run as The Shield with Rollins at Fastlane 2019.
