As I Yesterday, the Royal Rumble is now behind us and we officially launched the tires and took the path of WrestleMania. We have our winners and Rumble Champions in place at the moment and we will start discussing potential matches for 'Mania coming in April. As Raw did last night, Smackdown will take place at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Smackdown followed Raw in this arena last February
Here are the results of Royal Rumble that interest Smackdown:
- Asuka beat Becky Lynch to retain the title of women's champion Smackdown
- The Miz & Shane McMahon have defeated The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) to become Smackdown Team Champions
- Becky Lynch won the Women's Royal Rumble.
- Daniel Bryan defeated AJ. Styles to keep the WWE Championship. Erick Rowan returned to WWE television to help Bryan.
This is what is announced by WWE.com. No correspondence has been announced to date:

"The Man" Becky Lynch Throws a Challenge to WrestleMania's "The Rowdy One"
Asuka's Next Challenger
These items are related, so I will link them together for the purposes of this report.
Last night on Raw, we learned that "The Man" Becky Lynch, former two-time female champion at Smackdown, will face "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey for the Women's Raw Championship.
As a reminder, these two had to face Survivor Series in a champion match against champion when Becky held the gold medal at Smackdown. Becky had been injured by "The Facebreaker" Nia Jax before the event and had been replaced by Charlotte Flair in the match. Ronda then won via DQ when Charlotte attacked her with a kendo stick.
Becky was disappointed by the Royal Rumble in its attempt to win gold at Smackdown against Asuka, who made her go out. She then entered the Royal Rumble replacing a wounded Lana and won by eliminating Charlotte. She did so after her knee was "wounded" by Nia Jax outside the ring. Charlotte could claim that Becky was not originally in the Royal Rumble and badert his point of view to challenge Ronda or at least to say that Becky's victory is tainted.
Now, you know I can not do Smackdown primer without a tweet from Becky. It already starts between those two and we still have two and a half months:

Analysis of Frank: Let's keep it simple. It is not necessary to include CHARLOTTE FLAIR in this document. Supporters clearly want a one-on-one offer, and the match is enough to feature on the map as such and even for the main event of the show. Charlotte is waiting with Asuka for a very nice rematch against WrestleMania which would give us two matches of the top women's title on the "biggest stage of its kind". Think about it, against whom else would you like Asuka to defend it? You can do Lacey Evans, I suppose, if she ends up at Smackdown. Nikki Cross is a different match. I would suggest Sonya Deville, but they did not do much to build it. All other players in the formation feel at best like a match on television.
There is the problem of Ronda who will probably leave the WWE after WrestleMania in order to be able to make Charlotte participate in the match knowing that the occasion may not arise not be in the future. There is also the distant possibility of wanting to unify the women's titles since there will be only one women's team championship. If Becky or Charlotte beat Asuka before WrestleMania and you set up the triple threat, you can have a win-all match.
Shane McMahon and the World's Best Celebration in the World
This was first of all an anniversary, now a celebration of the championship by team. Are they getting a cake for this? That's what will revive the nocturnal cravings of viewers you know.
Anyway, "The Besties" (that's the name of their team, no?), Shane McMahon & The Miz won the Smackdown Tag Team Championship at the Royal Rumble after defeating the Bar ( Sheamus & Cesaro). They did so by hitting Cesaro on a shooting star press and scoring three goals.
(It is said that Brock Lesnar was in the back after missing that shot at WrestleMania 19 and saw that Shane, 49, had done it successfully.Yes, probably not true, but I could not To prevent it.)
After the match, Shane and Miz celebrated with Miz's father at the ring. Dana Warrior, the wife of Ultimate Warrior, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, was also present and embraced by the Miz. The evening continues as the new champions launch the "best party in the world". Here is a tweet from Shane following the great victory:

Frank's badysis: Shane and the Miz look like a truly cohesive tag group and Shane seems happy to do it. This will surely lead to something at WrestleMania but it remains to be seen what it is. I'm always discouraged by all this, because with such a rich roster like the WWE, you will not get me to sign on to Shane McMahon at the age of 49 in 2019 for a championship. Usos and New Day I agree that we need a break in the team titles scene. You have Sanity, the Good Brothers and the settlers who barely have time to watch television. Are they the best teams in the world? No, but no attempt has been made to at least try to build them over the years. The fans seem to be in the game and so, we'll just enjoy the ride and see where it's going. I'm not sure Miz is calling Shane at some point, but that makes sense for the moment.
Daniel Bryan wants to change the climate of the WWE
Erick Rowan returned to WWE in an unexpected turn of programming and helped Daniel Bryan retain the WWE title from AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble. This is not the first time that Bryan and Rowan have been lined up in the WWE, since Bryan briefly spent time with the Wyatt family (Rowan, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper) between late 2013 and early 2014

Last night on Raw, Bryan and Rowan were present and gave a brief interview to the. back with Charly Caruso while Seth Rollins had to choose his opponent from WrestleMania. When Rollins chose the universal champion, Brock Lesnar, which taught us after the show, he leaves Bryan open to the business world. Tonight we'll start learning its way as the WWE will determine a # 1 candidate for the man who wants to change the climate of the WWE. Perhaps he will want to ban the sale of hot dogs and soda in the concession stands.
Frank's Analysis: This is not the first time in the history of the WWE that we see a heel champion getting a "heater". is certainly big enough to play the role and his alignment with Bryan could work (that's the thing of the beard). You just wonder if the role of Bryan in the heel works. The matches with Styles at the last two PPVs were good, but nothing impressed us as we expected. I think the character is disappearing, but giving Bryan a heater does not suggest it. You wonder about Luke Harper's return and whether he joins Rowan or not with Bryan. The news is that it's not medically allowed to come back, but that it will be in a day now. Harper and Rowan recently hosted the Smackdown Team Championships as Bludgeon Brothers.
Can Lana and Rusev bounce back?
Sunday night was not a good night for Mr. and Mrs. Miroslav Barnyashev, better known as Rusev. and Lana.
During the pre-show Royal Rumble, Rusev left the US championship to Shinsuke Nakamura after getting it from him a month ago, during a pre-recorded episode of Smackdown aired on Christmas day. That put an end to his third reign with the championship. During the match, Rusev inadvertently dropped Lana from the ring apron while she was trying to show Nakamura tearing the shield cover to the referee. She apparently suffered an "ankle injury".
Later, Lana was preparing for the Women's Royal Rumble, but had a hard time getting into the ring. She was found unable to compete and was replaced by future winner Becky Lynch.
Rusev and Lana sent these tweets although I do not think there is much to read here:

Analysis of Frank: Lana could say that Becky took it in the Rumble, although I do not see where it would go. She could "recover" and fight for the Women's Smackdown title, but do we see her defeating Asuka? As for Rusev, the American title is so small that I do not read much by making him lose the title, even if he returns to Nakamura after a month. They'll probably get revenge tonight, given how WWE has handled these things in its history.
Possible points to anticipate tonight:

- Last week, Mandy Rose beat Naomi in a rather weak seven-minute game. She did it by pushing Naomi into the pole and marking the pin. Jimmy Uso went out to comfort his wife was visibly frustrated. I apologize but something tells me that this situation is not over after this tweet:

Mandy and Sonya Deville , I imagine, are designated for a qualifying match, but the same could be said of Naomi. Carmella is a likely partner. These two teams facing each other could be a way to keep the quarrel.
- Rey Mysterio and Andrade fought for a draw, their two-of-three match last week. Technically, I would call it Rey win via DQ since Samoa Joe attacked Rey during the "third fall". Nevertheless, Joe also continued to attack Andrade, but Randy Orton offered an RKO out of nowhere. During the Royal Rumble, Orton eliminated Rey after collectively eliminating Nia Jax. Andrade eliminated Orton. Ali and Rey could team up again to face Andrade and Joe. I do not exclude that six men put Jeff Hardy with Ali & Rey and Orton with Andrade & Joe. Any combination of matches is possible.
