SS Rajamouli, filmmaker of "Baahubali", recently made news, as he would be about to launch Bollywood stars in his upcoming "RRR". The director is said to have approached Ajay Devgn to give him a central role in the film, also starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

Although there is no official confirmation as to whether the filmmaker offered the role to Ajay or not, the reports claim that the actor refused the offer.
According to the latest buzz, the director has now approached Akshay Kumar for the role. Reports suggest the duo had a conversation, but nothing has been finalized. Akshay has already played the blockbuster antagonist "2.0" alongside Rajinikanth.
Earlier, rumors circulated that Rajamouli was considering Parineeti Chopra and even Alia Bhatt for the female lead of his film.
