The first teaser of the highly anticipated Saand Ki Aankh was released on Thursday morning and promises to be a fun affair. The film is performed by Prakashi Tomar (82) and Chandro Tomar (87), one of the oldest shooters from Uttar Pradesh, played by Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar. It is directed by Tushar Hiranandani.
Sharing the teaser, Taapsee tweeted, "You want to take a bus, kyuki tan buddha hove hain, a na hove buddha". The short video begins with a voice off: "Hum sabne naani daadiyon ke sideboard if kahaniyaa suni hain. Aaj may aapko apni dadiyon ki kahani sunaaungi (We have all heard the stories of our grandmothers, now listen to the story of my grandmothers.) Preparing for the teaser, Taapsee asked for the blessing of Chandro and Prakashi and women were quickly inundated with love, Taapsee tweeted, "Maari dadiyo ke aashirwad se."
