As part of a secular country like India, Salman Khan has always believed in national integration and has very quickly participated and celebrated all festivals with the same enthusiasm in his residence with his family. And it is something for which the actor is known in the industry.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan revealed how his own family is a "Bharat" in itself. He reportedly said that his father, Musalman Pathan, had married his mother, a Maharashtrian girl and half Dogra Rajput. Even then, there was no insistence on their religion.
Elaborating further, he reportedly added that his father then took his mother to his Pathan family and that they accepted it in one second. According to the actor, this has never been a problem for them and it will never be. He also concluded that even Helen Aunty is Catholic and her brother-in-law is Punjabi.
Meanwhile, although Bharat receives mixed criticism from the public and critics, he has sounded the cash registers at the counter.
Salman will soon be seen in 'Dabangg 3' of Prabhudheva with Sonakshi Sinha and Sudeep. He will also be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Inshallah" alongside Alia Bhatt.
