Bharat teaser by Ali Abbas Zafar with Salman Khan, was released on Friday.
Khan is present in almost every scene of the clip of a minute and a half. In his voiceover, "I am often asked what my family name is, what caste or religion I belong to. I smile and tell them that my father named me Bharat after that country. I can not possibly reduce the value of such an important name by adding a family name or a caste / religious identity.
The star of the film: Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi, Bharat is also a remake of the Korean blockbuster of 2014 Ode to My Father which traces the history of South Korea through the life of a man. Funded by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Bharat will be published in June, on the occasion of Eid.
The film marks the third collaboration of Ali Abbas Zafar and Khan after the Sultan (2016) and the Tiger Zinda Hai (2017)
