According to a report in Variety, the rights to the film were purchased by Reel Life Production from Salman Khan's brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri. Interestingly, Atul Agnihotri is also the producer of Bharat. The report further indicates that Salman Khan will be seen playing the leading role of a tough detective. The film is about a tough police detective who goes against a spoiled and arrogant young millionaire who runs a crime syndicate.

The teaser of the film released last month, which presents six different looks of Salman Khan and indicates that this film will be the journey of one man and one nation at a time.
