Salman Khan has been an actor for more than three decades. But few people know that the 53-year-old, who debuted on the big screen in 1988, entered the industry wanting to become a director. His role has just arrived and the concert has been going on for 30 years now. However, Salman says that this direction interests him extremely
and that he will certainly lead in the future. Extracts from an interview:
You have participated in several projects. How do you envision your projects and choose to join?
This is always the scenario. It has always been like that. When the audience leaves the theater, he must feel that he wants a boyfriend like my character, a son like this or a husband. Each actor should see the film in its entirety from the public's point of view.

Are roles that require physical transformation more difficult for you now?
Right now, I'm turning to the third installment of the Dabangg franchise, which is a precedent. Then Bharat publishes, which represents a nine-year trip at age 27, from 35 to 35, from 35 to 70 years old. So I play all these age groups in Bharat. You have seen this in Sultan (2016) as well. The amount of work to be done is 10 times greater than that of any other film. Because you need to lose weight to look in a certain way and then you have to take that weight. And all of this must always be done in a short period of time. Before, it was easier, but now it is much harder.
Many of your contemporaries are working on interesting projects in the digital space.
No, I do not like it. I mean, it's a pretty good space, but I do not like everything that's shown on digital platforms. In movies, there are three or four more punches, this is censored and we get a certificate A. We get a U / A certificate only when we cut certain scenes, but on the web they show everything and anything. There is no censorship. There should be a designated body that takes this call. My problem is that young children look at it too
because everyone has access to a phone. So, it's not cool with me.
Interested in management?
Not now. But I go [direct] at some point. I started my career wanting to become a director, so I think I will do it in the future. But I'm going to make a very small film. Badi image ka matlab yeh nahi hota ki production mein paisa kharch karo, that means bada plot hona chahiye and happy bada hona chahiye.
