The actor Salman Khan is currently working on his upcoming film titled Bharat, which is expected to release this Eid theatrically. The film's captivating trailer has already laid the groundwork for its release, with the actor playing a bigger role than ever in the official adaptation of the Korean film Ode To My Father. However, even before his release, Salman has signed a new Hindi adaptation of a veteran Korean hit film and will be seen playing a right cop.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the character will not look like Dabangg's Chulbul Pandey but will be more stylized and contemporary.

The film will also feature a young actor with a strong on-screen presence as an antagonist. He will play the role of a young millionaire involved in a crime syndicate and considered Salman's enemy in the film. The source said in the report, "The film is a mix of action, comedy and thrills. It's a good story, and the character defies the cop from end to end.

"Several studios were looking to present the critically acclaimed film to Hindi cinema, but Atul Agnihotri and his banner CEO Nikhil Namit took over the rights of Korean production company CJ Entertainment. This movie is right in Salman's alley, "said the source.

Salman is expected soon Wrap Bharat, post that he begins filming Dabangg 3. The film would be shot in a tight 100 day schedule. Then we wait for the actor to start working on the remake of the veteran who should be on the floors by the end of the year.
