The supporters of the Impact Wrestling were about to witness a terrible match between the WWE NXT wrestler, Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard. Sami reigned as fans showed their full support for Tessa.
Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard had much to prove when they entered the circle of the PPV of Impact Wrestling, Slammiversary XVII. And, they delivered to the shovel. Tessa started the match with a hurricane on Sami and even hit a pilot of the Death Valley. While Callihan was getting a ton of bastards, Tessa was getting a ton of applause and had the support of the public. While Sami was trying to neutralize Blanchard, Tessa replied with a clean knife on the ramp. When Tessa mistreated Sami, the referee tried to intervene and she nudged him in the back.
When Blanchard tried to control the referee, Callihan blinded her by striking her with his bat. However, Tessa emerges from the pin. After two rounds of the pack, Sami was able to tame Tessa and win the match. After the match, Sami recovered his bat as well as Tessa's gold bat. While he seemed about to attack, Callihan handed him Tessa's gold bat. Sami was heading backstage as the crowd cheered for Blanchard.
