Bringing out creative differences as a reason, they will turn a new version of 'Arjun Reddy' with Dhruv as their main role while remaining true to the soul and intent of the original.

It is widely accepted that the director of Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been approached by the manufacturers. Busy with his Bollywood remake, "Kabir Singh" starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, the 37-year-old filmmaker would have recommended his badociate director, Giri Sayya, to the film. The young beginner worked as a DA with Sandeep Vanga for Arjun Reddy.

Although the director's name has not yet been officially announced, the October celebrity, Banita Sandhu, was finalized as the leading woman against Vikram's son, Dhruv. She replaced Megha Chowdhury who is the heroine of the first version.
