Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan started shooting for the sequel to Love Aaj Kal in Delhi, and the pictures and videos on the sets delighted their fans. When Kartik and Sara confirmed the movie Imtiaz Ali by releasing a still on their respective Instagram handles, the internet broke down.
On March 20, 2019, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan confirmed that they were working together on the film Imtiaz Ali. They both shared a glimpse of their film look, in which we can see Sara rest her head on Kartik's shoulder. Sara Ali Khan completed her Delhi program for the movie Imtiaz Ali and the entire team staged a feast for the star of Simmba . Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan also celebrated Zee Cine and Filmfare Awards, respectively. And it was their attentive and pbadionate director, Imtiaz Ali, who organized the party for his actors. Sara Ali Khan won the Filmfare award for best first film (female) and thanked the entire team of Kedarnath through her legend while she shared her happiness with all her fans. Sharing a photo of kissing the black woman, Sara wrote, "Thank you Moviefare for granting me this honor. Being able to kiss the black woman is really surreal. The Kedarnath team is for everyone of you. Thank you for fulfilling my dream, Jai Bholenath ".
But what caught everyone's attention was Sara Ali Khan's "love at first sight", Kartik Aaryan's comment on his post. Kartik congratulated Sara for her feat and finally invited her out.
