Shoojit Sircar confirmed it during the interview and said the rest of the shooting will take place over the next two months.

Shoojit said, "Yes, let's take out the movie October 2, 2020. We will continue to do so. Despite the remaining filming schedule, the post-production and the time needed to complete the film, my producers and good friends, Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, have been recommending this date for a release feasible next year and I'll be back. I decided to accept it. The first filming schedule started in January and was completed in May, the next one is about to start in October 2019 and will last a few months. The next program will be shot in the UK, Russia, Europe and North India.
According to one source, "It will be a four-month shoot. Much of the film will be finished in January. The weather will be an important factor for the shoot. In addition to the Sardar Udham Singh biopic, Shoojit Sircar is also working on Gulaabo Sitaabo with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana. Filming for this will begin in 14 days. Vicky, on the other hand, will be seen in the horror film of Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan, Bhoot: Part One-The Haunted Ship. There will also be a Bhumi Pednekar cameo. The film will be released on November 15, 2019.
