Second look at Viswasam: confirmation of the film Ajith for Pongal

Ajith will soon be seen in Viswasam.

Director Siva unveiled Thursday a new poster of his upcoming film Viswasam, which has superstar Tamil Ajith in the lead role. The poster depicts a cheerful Ajith, carrying a ball in a backdrop filled with celebrations and happy faces. The new poster also confirmed that the film was preparing to pbad on the global screens for Pongal.

The uninterrupted production of Viswasam is proceeding at a steady pace. The post-production work of the film is already underway and there is only one song left to complete the shoot.

At a recent film event, the producer of Thiagarajan film Sathya Jyothi Films said that the character of Ajith in the film was different from the one he had played until now. The first poster of the movie released in August put Ajith in two different avatars, which suggests a double role in the film.

Viswasam is Siva's fourth collaboration with Ajith after Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. The actor Nayanthara plays the female lead in the film. Nayanthara and Ajith meet on screen after five years. They shared the screen space in three films, including Billa (2007), Aegan (2008) and Arrambam (2013). The film also stars Vivek, Robo Shankar and Thambi Ramaiah, among others.
