The controversy over badual harbadment Meesha Shafi-Ali Zafar has been in the spotlight for quite some time now. The Pakistani singer-actor has issued a statement on social media in which he states that Shafi's complaint against him has been filed. He also urged people to join him in asking Shafi to appear in court saying, "She should stop hiding behind false accounts to defend herself and plead in court to face the truth." According to a report, Ali has initiated a defamation action of 100 crores of rupees against the actor-singer Meesha Shafi, who accused him of badual harbadment on the Twitter microblogging site. Zafar said Shafi had damaged his reputation with false allegations. The notice sent to Shafi also aimed to apologize on the same social networking platform as Twitter, proclaiming the innocence of the customer.
