Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood actor, and David Letterman, veteran talk show host, collaborated on the production of an independent special show on Netflix. According to the press release issued by the streaming service, the show will be entirely devoted to in-depth conversations, for which Letterman is renowned, and to segments in situ expressing his curiosity and humor.
53-year-old Shah Rukh said he was honored to share his story with Letterman.
"For years, I watched David Letterman's talk show and I'm a big fan of his interview style. I am delighted and honored to share my story with him. The fact that this is on Netflix is even more special. I work with the team on various projects and this has always been an exciting partnership with them, "said Shah Rukh.
After interviewing SRK in front of the hearing Thursday in New York, Letterman, 72, said that the actor was one of the most beautiful people he ever spoke to.
"The best part of this job that Netflix has been happy to provide for me is to meet people. And after each of these sessions, I tell myself that he is a very intelligent person, very adorable, with whom I learned things. You might be at the top of this list, "said Letterman.
Netflix did not announce the date of the premiere of the special.
