Like any successful Bollywood actor, actor Shah Rukh Khan also began with the theater before making it big in the movies. On the occasion of World Theater Day, the actor shared a photo with his wife Gauri Khan, accompanied by an enigmatic message: "Being with you, it's like being on scene. During his days at Hansraj College, SRK was closely badociated with the Theater Action Group (TAG) and was mentored by Barry John. He also talked about interacting with actors from the National Theater School where his father, Taj Mohammed Khan, was running a canteen.
A day before, the actor went to Calcutta to meet the chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee. He was seen greeting his fans with a namaste.
Shah Rukh recently made headlines in a series of videos of Dubai Tourism's #BeMyGuest campaign. He was seen alongside superheroes Captain America, Iron Man and Thor as they joined their efforts to solve an enigma in Dubai
The latest film by Shah Rukh Khan, Zero, also starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif did not perform well at the box office. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film made with a huge budget was hailed for its special effects and special effects. After opening at Rs 20 crore, Zero quickly lost momentum amid negative critics. The actor had played a dwarf in the film for the first time in his career.
SRK should play in Rakesh Sharma's biopic entitled Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, but has now left the project. Anjum Rajabali, writer, had said during an event, "I do not think he said no to Saare Jahan Achcha because of the space (angle). I think he's also pretty upset, he's betting a lot on that.
