Actor Shah Rukh Khan stated that the critical and commercial failure of his recent film Zero had affected him and that he had lost the enthusiasm to move to a new project because of that.

The film was selected to be presented at the recent Beijing International Film Festival and Shah Rukh said he was not particularly excited about showing the film there.
