Shah Rukh Khan, an award-winning actor, producer, and advocate for women's equality, will receive the highest honor from La Trobe University during her visit to Australia for the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne.
The Trobe is the first Australian university to award an honorary doctorate to Mr. Khan, in recognition of his efforts to help disadvantaged children, for his unwavering dedication to the struggle for the empowerment of women through Intermediary of the MEER Foundation and for its unprecedented achievements in the Indian entertainment industry.
