The actor Shah Rukh Khan will co-produce a series of horror for streaming service, Netflix. According to sources, it is a series of horror entitled Betaal, written and directed by Patrick Graham, co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan. It will be co-produced by Gaurav Verma, Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix
Graham previously directed director Radhika Apte-starrer Ghoul for Netflix. Vineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra, among others, would appear in this series. The official announcement will be made soon.
This will be the third piece of content produced by Red Chillies Entertainment for Netflix, after Bard of Blood, starring Emraan Hashmi, and Clbad of 83 with Bobby Deol. The clbad of 83 is led by Atul Sabharwal. The film tells the story of a police officer turned police instructor, whose students are grappling with the complexities of honor, morality and dedication to the nation. Recently, Netflix announced that Bard of Blood would be presented for the first time on its platform on September 27th.

The show in seven episodes is based on the bestseller Bilal Siddiqi, of the same name. The official journal of the show reads: "The story is told of four Indian intelligence officers belonging to the Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW), who were compromised before being able to convey any information important to India. They are captured and about to be decapitated. The stakes are high. "
