Shahid Kapoor took the jackpot with Kabir Singh . The movie creates new discs with each pbading day. Now, having spent 16 days in the cinema, he has taken a new step.
After collecting 226.11 Rs crore, the film has entered the top 15 of the biggest fat of all time (since the invention of the club Rs 100 crore). In the process, he moved biggies as Bharat (crore of 215 Rs), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (crore of Rs 210), Golmaal Again ( crore of Rs 205.7)), Happy New Year (205 crores of Rs) and 3 idiots (crore of 202.5 Rs), which are the next five ranks in the top 20.
There is a handful of films that have entered the Rs 200 crore club and even fewer have made the Rs 300 crore club (eight to be precise). If it seems difficult that Kabir Singh surrendered to the club of 300 crores, he would dispute the number of points of life of the next player in the line – Dhoom: 3 (Rs 284 crore).
Meanwhile, what makes Shahid Kapoor's journey interesting is the fact that he was in the big league with the Khans after Kabir Singh . In the list of the 15 biggest wholesalers of all time, it is the Khans who direct, with more than half of the films between them. While Salman Khan is in the lead with four of these persons ( Tiger Zinda Hai Bajrangi Bhaijaan Sultan and Kick ), Aamir Khan has three ( Dangal PK and Dhoom: 3 ) and Shah Rukh Khan has one ( Chennai Express ).
The others are the following who started their career after Shahid Kapoor (Hrithik Roshan being the only exception). Ranveer Singh leads with two ( Padmaavat and Simmba ) while Ranbir Kapoor ( Sanju ), Hrithik Roshan ( of Krrish 3 and Vicky ( Uri – The Surgical Strike ) scored one goal each – as for Prabhas, he has the greatest of all – Baahubali 2 .
Incidentally, Shahid Kapoor shares the credits with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for the success of Rore 300 crore club, Padmaavat, which means in Reality, too, has two great ones.
