Kabir Singh is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. The film is also performed by Kamini Kaushal, Suresh Oberoi, Arjan Bajwa and Adil Hussain
Recently, the director of the film, Sandeep Vanga Reddy, was criticized for defending the film's approval of manhood and violence against women.
