Shahid Kapoor, a Bollywood actor, said he was afraid to play a young student in his upcoming film Kabir Singh. An official remake of the Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy, the film presents him as a medical student who falls in love and a break ups his life. The film also stars Kiara Advani and is expected to be released June 21.
According to a report of his DNA, he reportedly said, "I was scared. I was thinking of my younger brother, my wife and my children when they grow up and see that. They will say, "Yeh kya karne ki zaroorat this dad? Bhool gaye kya ke aap 38 ho ?! (Why did you need to make this dad? You forgot that you were 38 years old?) "
Perhaps to prove that Shahid is not yet too old, his wife Mira Rajput has, for his share, shared a collage of her youngest and last ones. "16-Year Challenge", she subtitled.
Defending her film against accusations of chauvinism, Shahid recently said: "It is not wrong to expect that an actor is always idealistic. I am not expected to be idealistic.
