SHANE EXPLAINS HIMSELF …
Reminder: The show opens with Shane McMahon in the ring. The Best in the World trophy was also present and Shane was announced as such. Unsatisfied with the advertiser's enthusiasm when he called it "the best in the world," Shane grabbed him by the collar and forced him to try again. At the third attempt, Shane finally left him alone.
Shane explained that he was fed up with all the people in his life, not just Miz and the other wrestlers, but all of the WWE employees. He said that they were all looking for a favor to progress in life. He said that by beating Miz, he had put an end to it all.
Shane said the feeling he had on Sunday was so terrible and everyone should get used to it because it's a sign of novelty. He said that Miz was working for him and told him to prepare to "beat another world's best". After saying it would be "awesome", he threw away the microphone and left.
Evaluation: This was a good segment. Shane's explanation proved credible and irreproachable. He had a good heat from the crowd, so it works.
Prediction: Miz returns from his beating to defeat Shane at WrestleMania.
AJ & RANDY FACE OFF …
Reminder: In the middle of the series, Randy Orton came into the ring for a promo. He was incredulous that SmackDown was the "house built by AJ Styles". He reviewed the story from 2002 onwards. He went through every time he tore up SmackDown while AJ "squeezed his opponents' hands in the bingo halls" and tan with Dixie Carter in Florida. "He said that SmackDown was the house built by Randy Orton.
AJ then came into the ring. He told Randy that he would never have managed to enter the world of independent music, mocking his iconic pose and referring to the RKO as an imitating imitation diamond. AJ then stated that even though Orton may not like the independents, he is now surrounded by them in the locker room.
Without naming them, Randy also mentions that the Bullet Club is ripping off "Too Sweet". Randy, he was not counting on his father for a job. He recounted the badistance Randy had received over the years through his badociations with Triple-H and Ric Flair. He went on to talk about Legacy and the Wyatt family, noting that Randy had "a lot of babysitters". Orton said that he was the owner of SmackDown "and that rent is due, son of a bitch". Randy said to check out at most three destructive letters in sports entertainment: RKO. He dropped the microphone and turned to leave. Styles said that if he wanted his rent, he had to come and take it. He then pointed to the WrestleMania sign.
Rating: This promo was great because there was truth on both sides. WWE allowing Randy Orton to refer to ROH and TNA, even indirectly, added to the realism. Similarly, it was with great surprise that AJ was allowed to refer to the high-level talents of the independent world. This is a change from the usual WWE policy of not recognizing the existence of another fight.
Forecast: It was obvious that Randy will face AJ at WrestleMania. It seems that neither one nor the other is positioned as a stub and that fans will be "allowed" to applaud their preference.
An Even More Difficult Day …
A Recap: When an early tag match broke out a fight, the New Day has run out and erased the ring with a perverse advantage that we do not have. Generally not seen
Later, in the last segment of the series, Vince McMahon came out and recapped the events of Fastlane. He reprimanded the fans for not listening carefully when he had promised a Triple Threat match because he had never said that Kofi would be present. He then reprimanded Kofi for failing in the match he was given on Sunday.
The New Day was then interrupted. They scolded Vince. They claimed that despite everything Vince had asked, he still treated them as garbage. Big E said that Kofi deserved more. Vince replied that no one deserved anything.
Vince went on to say that Kofi had a lot of qualities, but he was not a champion. He said Daniel Bryan had hit the nail early by saying that Kofi was great but was a "B + player". This angry Kofi, who told all the time that he had spent with his family and children because of his dedication. at WWE. He said he never complained, but just wanted to know what he could do to win a championship opportunity.
Randy Orton then appeared, followed by Samoa Joe, Bar and Rowan. Vince said Kofi should beat them all in a glove next week to win the title. The heels then stormed the ring and a scrum broke out as the show disappeared.
Rating: Tonight was perfect for the New Day show to be harder. They distributed the shots earlier and expressed a credible anger in the last segment. There was no joke. If Kofi is to be taken seriously in a WrestleMania title match, this show is absolutely necessary.
Forecast: I still think Daniel Bryan stays at WrestleMania, but WWE is doing a good job building this game.
