An experimental hang glider was scared of his life when his pilot forgot to hook it up to the plane. The sequence of the incident became viral and shows the man hanging on the hang glider for more than two minutes

The horrific incident occurred while Chris Gursky was spending his holidays in Switzerland . He then shared the content of the video on YouTube with the following message: "My first hang-gliding attempt took an unexpected turn when I left the ground without being attached to the glider."

This terrifying clip shows Gursky taking off at 4000 feet altitude. He can be seen standing on the back of his pilot. But a few seconds after takeoff, he loses his grip and slips on the metal bar.

Fortunately, he managed to hang on the metal bar for more than two minutes without a harness before the pilot arrived to lay it on the ground safely.

However, he tore the tendon of the left bicep and had to undergo a right wrist operation. a fracture caused by the impact of the fall to the ground.

"I remember looking down and thinking, that's it. I lost the grip of the right hand, which was holding a strap to the driver's right shoulder. He was trying to make his way to the landing field as he knew what the situation could bring, "Gursky told DailyMail.

" I ended up holding the bar with my left hand and the lower leg with the right. when we approached the ground. I looked down to see that my feet were hit first, which took me to about 45 mph because the landing was hot and I was under the train landing, "he added.

Despite this terrifying experience, Gursky congratulated the pilot and said: he will try again free flight
