Sidharth Malhotra, who published two records this year in Jabariya Jodi and Marjaavan began to prepare Captain Vikram Batra's biopic. Produced by Karan Johar and Shabbir Boxwala, the film is tentatively titled Sher Shah of Kargil .

Sidharth recently completed the shooting of, Jabariya Jodi conducted by Prashant Singh and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The film is based on the tradition of kidnapping spouses, prevalent in the state of Bihar and which will be released on July 12.
His next film in the action thriller Milap Zaveri Marjaavaan . The film is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and will also feature Tara Sutaria, Ritesh Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles.
