He stated that Kabir Singh was ranked 10th on the list of the most lucrative Hindi films, while Uri placed 11th. Baahubali 2 Dangal and Sanju are among the other films on the list of the most important recipes.

Adarsh also said that the film had maintained a stable box office number even on the third Tuesday, despite the World Cup opposing India to New Zealand encounter. It should become the most profitable film of 2019, surpbading that of Salman Khan Bharat and Vicky Kaushal Uri . The total box office collection of Kabir Singh stands up to a crore of 243.17 Rs at the national box office.

The movie's glory is parallel to the controversy surrounding it since its release. Kabir Singh was widely criticized for "glorifying" toxic masculinity, but in an interview with Film Companion's Anupama Chopra, the film's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, called the film critics "pseudo". In the interview, he said that in true love, "if you do not have the freedom to slap you, I see nothing there".
A few days after suffering a violent reaction to "justify" violence in the name of love, the filmmaker seemed to go back on his comments, saying that the interview had been "written in such a way very wrong ".
