This month was special for the Kapoors! Television director and producer Ekta Kapoor welcomed her baby via a surrogate a few days ago. And while family members revealed that they had called Ravie, inspired by the real name of his father and veteran actor Jeetendra, the Kapoor family decided to hold a special ceremony naamkaran of the small.
The family of Ekta and his closest friends attend this special occasion. The new mom arrived with her son and had a big smile when she was photographed. Ekta shone brightly in traditional yellow dress.
While her nephew and Tusshar Kapoor's son, Laksshya Kapoor is all dressed in yellow and white kurta pajamas, her parents, Shobha Kapoor and Jeetendra, are on the cloud nine and rightly so!
Ekta's closest colleague and friend, Smriti Irani, turned actor turned politician, arrived gracefully in a cotton sari and Mona Singh was just as smiling as the paparazzi. The Bachchan brothers – Shweta and Abhishek – were also honored.
Karan Johar, one of Ekta's closest friends, arrived with his mother, Hiroo Johar. Filmmaker Farah Khan has also done a pretty picture! The biggest television celebrities, including Sakshi Tanwar, Kanchi Kaul, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Mouni Roy and Hiten Tejwani, among others, were also on the occasion.

Ekta had previously announced the arrival of his little boy on social networks with a message from the heart. She had shared that although she has had many successes in her life, nothing is comparable to the feeling of having embraced motherhood. She wrote: "By the grace of God, I have had many successes in my life, but nothing beats the feeling that this beautiful soul has added to my world. I can not even begin to express how happy the birth of my baby has been. Everything in life does not happen as you wish, but there are still solutions to these problems. I found mine and today, I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It's a moment of emotion for me and my family and I can not wait to start this new journey as a mother. "
