"Son of Sania and Shoaib will not have Pakistani citizenship"

Two days after tennis star Sania Mirza and her husband, Pakistani basketball player Shoaib Malik, were blessed with a little boy, an article published Wednesday in the Pakistani media Pakistani citizenship will not be granted to the child.

Six-time Grand Slam winner Sania delivered baby to Rainbow Hospital in Hyderabad. Sania had married Shoaib at a traditional Muslim ceremony Hyderabadi on April 12, 2010.

At the same time, a report on urdu.dunyanews.tv mentioned sources from the Federal Agency of investigation (FIA) stating that an Indian citizen could not become a citizen under Pakistan's pbadport and immigration laws.
