A fraud case was recorded against Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha in the district of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, police said Sunday. Four other people were also named in the complaint to the police, alleging that the actor and four other people – Malvika Punjabi, Dhumil Thakkar, Edgar Sakaria and Abhishek Sinha – allegedly defrauded the complainant, in an amount of Rs 32.
Pramod Sharma stated that an amount of 32 lakh was transferred to Sonakshi's account for her attendance at an event, but she did not show up.
A police official said he registered a case after an investigation and that the organizer was trying to exert unnecessary pressure on them by committing acts such as poison consumption. The manager told IANS that the beauty and fashion awards program in India was held on September 30th.

On the day of the event, seven round trip air tickets from Mumbai to Delhi were booked – two in business clbad and five in economy clbad. Sonakshi's team issued the following statement:" Sonakshi was approached by the organizers of the event in Delhi to attend an event. However, despite repeated reminders, the organizer failed to make the payments to Sonakshi before the event, as planned. Tickets for Delhi were not in order / as agreed, the organizer also did not send round-trip tickets for Sonakshi and her team, although she knows she took a picture the next morning . However, they remained incommunicado and did not keep their promises. Due to a lack of commitment on the part of the organizer, Sonakshi and his team had no choice but to return from the Mumbai airport. Since that day, the Sonakshi management agency is trying to contact the organizer to find an amicable solution, as it proposes another date and tries to connect, but to no avail. The organizer now uses the media to disclose fake and manipulated facts. If the organizer does not stop there, Sonakshi and his team will be forced to take legal action to remedy this situation.
