Actress Sonali Bendre said she spent a whole night crying as a result of the cancer diagnosis and her husband and director Goldie Behl helped her to deal with the news. Last July, Bendre announced that she had been diagnosed with "high grade cancer". She was treated in New York.
The actress returned at that time during a televised debate where she came with her friend and entrepreneur Sussanne Khan.
"After spending all night reconciling myself with this, I got up and decided now to stop crying and crying. From now on, there will be happiness. I saw the sun rise, I clicked on an image and shared it with my family and my daughters and I said, "Girls, turn on the sun," said Bendra.
"Goldie and I have been married for 16 years. And when I got to know cancer, I realized that Goldie was the most important person in my eyes, she added.
"Our children are so mature and understanding that they were always there with Ranveer (the son of Bendre)," Khan added.
Bendre also told an anecdote about her time in New York with her friends while she was following treatment.
"We decided, let's make the most of it, we spent some time in New York, we were there with children, they were great, the girls (Sussanne and Gayatri) went, left the children there. And then came back, then it was just us and we really enjoyed the city. "Bendre revealed.
