S addressing the magazine, Sonali said, "So when my PET scanner [Positron Emission Tomography] revealed that a cancer had spread on all my abdomen, like scattered fairy lights, and that the New York doctor said that there was about a 30% chance that everything went away, we were broken.
However, the 44-year-old actor said that she and her family had never lost hope. "But the idea of death did not come to me. I thought the fight was going to be long, but I never thought I would die. "
Sonali recently appeared on a television show with her best friends, Gayatri Oberoi and Sussanne Khan, where she explained how in her career her hair was the talk of the city. Not only did she have her first acting break, but she also donned a host of hair products during this period. "Now that I think about it, my whole life has been devoted to my hair, even if it seems superficial. I approved every hair product at some point in my life, "said Mumbai Mirror reporter. Since arriving in India last December, Sonali has regained her calm, but calmly. The actor also explained that at first, he was not told what his cancer was. Addressing Rajeev Masand, she explained that it was only after her arrival in New York that her doctors told her that not only did she have stage IV cancer, but that she was not diagnosed with cancer. she had only a 30% chance of surviving. She also stated that it was her husband's decision, Goldie Behl, to go to New York and she was not convinced until she arrived in town.
"I land in New York and the next day we go to the doctor. He looks at everything and we sent all our tests and he says, you know, it's the fourth step and you have a 30% chance of survival. That really hit me; I just turned to Goldie and I remember saying, "Thank God, you got me here." Goldie has always said that "tomorrow, I would prefer to have an overreaction, an excessive expense rather than an insufficient response and that I regret having to do it". We had no time and we did not know it was the fourth step, but Goldie had started reading information about it and he doubted it.
