New Delhi:

Sonali Bendre, who fought cancer, wrote about "a little stop in the roller coaster we call life" and shared a photo on Instagram, which seems to come from one of his post-processing checkups. The 44-year-old actress posed for the photo with a broad smile and wrote: "Another kind of outfit and another kind of accessory … just a little stop in the roller coaster we let's call life back to # MyNewNormal # OneDayAtATime #SwitchOnTheSunshine. "A cancer was diagnosed at Sonali Bendre in July 2018 and after several months of treatment in the United States, she returned to India in December.

Upon returning to India, Goldie Bahl, the husband of Sonali Bendre, told the ANI news agency that her treatment was fine In the end, Sonali will undergo regular checks. "She's back for good, she's recovering very well, and for the moment the treatment is over, but the illness may come back, so regular check-ups will be done," Goldie Behl said.

This is Sonali Bendre's latest Instagram post:

The comments section of Sonali Bendre's post is full of "good recovery" messages. Sussanne Khan, one of Sonali's close friends, wrote: "Sonzyyy, you are the most amazing person I've met … My warrior princess, so proud of you."

After returning to India, Sonali Bendre was gradually reinstated in her usual life. She described returning to work after a "major sabbatical" as "surreal". Sonali said: "After all this, I feel a sense of motivation and extra meaning and I am very grateful to be back in action."

Recently, Sonali Bendre did the cover of Vogue magazine and she described her look – an almost bald head and a surgical scar – as her " new normality ". She added, "If there is any advice I can give you after that, it would be" Find your new normality. "It's very liberating."

The idea was almost absurd. An almost bald head, barely made up and a huge scar was not the norm for @vogue. But, I guess that's my new normal. Of course, I had reservations and, if I dare say, insecurities – but a frank conversation with the lovely ladies @priya_tanna and @anaitashroffadajania has cleared my doubts. And before I realized it, I stood in front of the camera, ready to discover my new reality. The icing on the cake was the fact that I needed a third of the time to comb my hair and put on makeup. Then I closed my eyes and jumped in, thoroughly, and here is the result. Thank you, @meghamahindru for telling my story; and thanks @ridburman for having understood my story and for telling it so beautifully through your lens. If there is any advice I can give you all after that, it would be: "Find your new normal". It's very liberating.
