The definition of stepmother and stepdaughter who undergo a major change and who leads the charge is made up of a group of prominent Bollywood women. Vidya Balan, who hosts her own radio show called Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho, interviewed actors Rani Mukerji, Sonam Kapoor and Juhi Chawla, where they discussed their equation with their respective mothers-in-law.
Rani explained that she attributes to her mother-in-law having so well bred her husband, Aditya Chopra. Spotboye quoted her as follows: "She is a fantastic woman. I thank every day my mother-in-law for making Aditya the person that he is today. She is an absolutely fantastic woman to know, and it is something that is clearly visible in the way she raised him. She instilled in him such good values that I continue to thank her. "

It is clear that the definition of mother-in-law is change. Sonboy Kapoor, who married her boyfriend Anand Ahuja at a wedding developed last May, was quoted by Spotboye, claiming that she considered her mother-in-law as her mother. She told Vidya: "I like to call my mother-in-law my mother. She has two children and she treats me as her third child. She is my friend and at the same time my mother. I think she loves me as much as my mother loves me. She has no girl, so she continues to say that she finally had a girl in me and I think everyone should have the same luck as me.
Actor Juhi Chawla also mentioned how his mother had made him aware of the importance of having a support system. She added that at the beginning of her married life, her mother-in-law would travel to Uganda to accompany Juhi's two children, while she was away.
Vidya Balan, last seen in Tumhari Sulu, will be seen in Mission Mangal with Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu. She also appeared in the Telugu biopic on the NT Rama Rao as the first woman, Basavatarakam, in 2019.
