"It's his personal life. Ranbir is an adorable boy. I think that the person with whom Alia came out before or date, is his choice and his life. I will always support her, but I do not think I should discuss it, you know. It is not my place to discuss (of his personal life) in public. As a mother, I'm just happy if she's happy.

Alia also rarely spoke about her relationship with Ranbir. However, in her acceptance speech after winning the award for best actress for Raazi, she said, "Meghna for me, Raazi, it's you, your blood and your sweat. You are my main chick.
