Sony announced the Xperia XZ3 smartphone at the IFA Technology Expo 2018 in September. According to rumors, the Japanese technology company is working on the Xperia XZ4 smartphone. Teaming up with @OnLeaks, an Indian publication shared the CAD renderings of the upcoming Xperia XZ4.

Xperia XZ4 renderings show it will have a slightly different design than the Xperia XZ3. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5 inch screen. The phone's screen is not curved like the Xperia XZ3. As can be seen in the renderings, the Xperia XZ4 has a non-notch screen that supports an aspect ratio of 18: 9.

The handset measures 166.9 x 72.4 x 8.2 mm. There is a shock of the camera where the thickness of the camera increases up to 9mm. In comparison, the Xperia XZ3 equipped with a 6-inch screen measures 158 x 73 x 9.9 mm

renderings also reveal that the Xperia XZ4 will be the first Sony phone to have three rear cameras. The presence of the triple camera module makes it clear that it will offer a superior photography experience to that of its predecessor. The front of the XZ4 only has one camera.

The right edge of the phone features a power button that is integrated with a fingerprint reader, a camera shutter and a volume rocker. The bottom edge of the phone is equipped with a USB-C port. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack in the handset.

At the time of writing these lines, there was no information on the other specifications of the Xperia XZ4. As the company follows the trend to announce new smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) techno show, the Xperia XZ4 will become official next February.
