Director Rohit Shetty, who is collaborating for the first time with actor Akshay Kumar in his directorial project "Sooryavanshi", will begin filming for the cop drama from May.

"We will start filming in May and it will take a year for the film to come out," he said.
The film's main female role has not been finalized, he said.
"We will announce the female lead in the next 2-3 days," said Shetty.
& # 39; Sooryavanshi & # 39; is produced by Karan Johar. The film will be released at Eid 2020, in confrontation with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt-starrer's "Inshallah".
