Soundarya is the superstar Rajinikanth and the daughter of Latha Rajinikanth. She married actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi at a lavish wedding in Chennai on February 11th. Soundarya and Vishagan Vanangamudi were married in accordance with the rituals of South India. She opted for Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla couture for the wedding. The chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K Palaniswami, and the political actor Kamal Haasan were among the guests who attended the wedding.

This is Soundarya and Vishagan Vanangamudi second marriage. Soundarya was previously married to R Ashwin business man and Vishagan Vanangamudi was married to Kanikha Kumaran, magazine publisher.
Soundarya is a graphic designer and filmmaker. Vishagan owns a pharmaceutical company and he was recently seen in the movie Vanjagar Ulagam .
